Button (formerly Lucky)
Adopted November 2019
Button (formerly Lucky) and her new family wanted to send you a note to say hi and thank you for all that you do. We have all settled into our new routine of snuggles, walks, and as much off-leash running as possible (now you see her, now you don’t).
We are very pleased with the progress Button has made with her training at home and on her walks. Our main outdoor training is to teach her to safely run along side an electric scooter. Right now, there are times when we think she would be a good sled dog. 🙂
Button has come along way since we brought her home last November. She has grown in confidence and has developed a voice (she didn’t bark for almost two weeks). Button still does not like being left alone but will tolerate it for short periods of time. She can now play fetch and loves tug of war. At the dog park, she feels safe enough to wrestle with other dogs. She came to us having been bitten so I have been very mindful of her interactions with other dogs.
I think one of the qualities I love most about Button is how she thanks us with her summersault rubs against our legs. She sure does make us laugh.
Thank you again.
